Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Sipayung started the match with the kick off. Boy Chaniago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Batupayung's goal looked a bit too open when Boy Chaniago came free, but Fery Sembiring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of PSS Barebeg booed when Batupayung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bulsky Subagdja didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Sipayung in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bongky Cahyono Putro saved PSS Barebeg from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elie Waluyo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of PSS Barebeg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Batupayung:s goal. Uum Sinuraya struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bongky Cahyono Putro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batupayung. Boy Romatua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fery Sembiring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boy Romatua succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boy Chaniago was the one to do the kick off. Batupayung's Fery Sembiring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boy Chaniago in the 52nd minute of play. Fery Sembiring didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. After some careless play in the Batupayung defense, Boy Chaniago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fery Sembiring. The Batupayung fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fery Sembiring should have stopped the shot. Boy Chaniago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fery Sembiring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Batupayung getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Romi Akmal hit a great ball. Batupayung's Uum Sinuraya got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, Batupayung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uum Sinuraya to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Uum Sinuraya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batupayung's supporters rose to their feet, but Uum Sinuraya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bongky Cahyono Putro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boy Romatua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fery Sembiring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boy Romatua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fery Sembiring having to interfere. PSS Barebeg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
