Ade Sembiring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haryanto Sinulingga in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, one of Cigawli:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cigawli. The goalkeeper, Bongky Kaban, was totally fooled by Duono FC's Dian Karo-karo, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 35th minute, Ichwan Karo-karo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ade Sembiring didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ichwan Karo-karo went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Cigawli booed when Duono FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sipiongot Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ichwan Karo-karo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Widodo Sinambela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ichwan Karo-karo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ade Sembiring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rochy Prima fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Duono FC's protests and gave Rochy Prima a yellow card for diving instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Widodo Sinambela couldn't finish the play. Ichwan Karo-karo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ade Sembiring having to interfere. Widodo Sinambela scored 1-4 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ade Sembiring, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cigawli played a much better game than Duono FC and deserved their victory. The Duono FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
