Martin Waluyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Priyatno in the 3rd minute of play. Boy Sinuhaji showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasum Alexander, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Nasum Alexander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boy Sinuhaji having to interfere. PSP Smora's Boy Sinuhaji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasum Alexander in the 11th minute of play. Boy Sinuhaji made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candra Haryanto-Ie in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasum Alexander in the 15th minute of play forced PSP Smora's goalkeeper Boy Sinuhaji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiar Ridliwan charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiar Ridliwan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Tiar Ridliwan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boegoeba's Martin Waluyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiar Ridliwan in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Reynaldo Eiboy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Waluyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boegoeba's Joko Simamora suffered a sore thigh after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Heri Ridliwan's late challenge caught a Boegoeba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heri Ridliwan helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes PSP Smora got a freekick which was hit by Heri Ridliwan. Martin Waluyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Eiboy in the 27th minute of play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Candra Haryanto-Ie from a close distance when the talented Boy Sinuhaji managed to make a qualified save. PSP Smora's players were relieved. Boegoeba's Steve Pane got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henry Priyatno scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Waluyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, PSP Smora's goalkeeper Boy Sinuhaji had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candra Haryanto-Ie. Boy Sinuhaji made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Pane in the 42nd minute of play. Martin Waluyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Eiboy, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Martin Waluyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heri Ridliwan in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Candra Haryanto-Ie made a kick off. After a rather tough play, PSP Smora's Gendo Subagdja got a free kick in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Eiboy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martin Waluyo. Reynaldo Eiboy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 63rd minute, Steve Pane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Waluyo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hardy Sugendo. After 68 played minutes Boegoeba got a freekick which was hit by Nasum Alexander. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Eiboy got free with Martin Waluyo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Reynaldo Eiboy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boegoeba's Candra Haryanto-Ie got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candra Haryanto-Ie in the 83rd minute of play forced PSP Smora's goalkeeper Boy Sinuhaji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Steve Pane came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Boegoeba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Pane couldn't finish the play. If Henry Priyatno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candra Haryanto-Ie in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boy Sinuhaji prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Pane in the 94th minute of play forced PSP Smora's goalkeeper Boy Sinuhaji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Boegoeba lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
