The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Widodo Cahyono Putro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paijo Dewa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. When Uum Idris came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Lakus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uum Idris couldn't finish the play. Pandapotan Eiboy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Lakus's Pandapotan Eiboy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uum Ridliwan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Lakus booed when Sembiran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joko Sembiring didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Uum Idris came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lakus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uum Idris couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Lakus's goalkeeper Paijo Dewa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boy Ginting. Uum Idris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lakus's Pandapotan Eiboy got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes, Mulyana Akmal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lakus and the Sembiran FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Lakus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sembiran FC:s goal. 38 minutes in the game, Zulfikri Aswin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paijo Dewa having to interfere. Boy Ginting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paijo Dewa having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Widodo Cahyono Putro to strike the kick off in the second half. Zulfikri Aswin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Sembiran FC's Widodo Cahyono Putro managed to work through Lakus's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Widodo Cahyono Putro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Sembiran FC booed when Lakus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fadh Sembiring didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uum Ridliwan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 68 minutes into the game, Sembiran FC's Widodo Cahyono Putro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paijo Dewa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sembiran FC's zone, Pandapotan Eiboy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uum Ridliwan came out of the goal and Pandapotan Eiboy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uum Ridliwan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pandapotan Eiboy in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Kompos Mulia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Boy Ginting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paijo Dewa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Widodo Cahyono Putro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sembiran FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lakus for a fine match.
