In the 25th minute 杜霖辉 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 宋森义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 宋森义 came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by 上海浦东天秤联队's 汪泉松. But to his dismay, 汪泉松 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 宋森义 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 汪泉松 in the 33rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 马然威 during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to 四川遂宁森林狼联队 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. 马然威 hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, 林平远 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 四川遂宁森林狼联队's 宋森义 didn't even have to move. 杜霖辉 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If 杜霖辉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 蒋亮云 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 齐义翀 in the 47th minute. After the first half 上海浦东天秤联队 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 范振皓 was the one to do the kick off. When 杜霖辉 came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the 上海浦东天秤联队 fans jumped to their feet.
