The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 余鸿鸿 during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes 四川眉山浪客队 got a freekick which was hit by 余鸿鸿. 柯义川 came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by 山东滨州神舟队's 冯益辉. But to his dismay, 冯益辉 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that 冯益辉's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 柯义川 was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If 宋坤耀 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when 冯益辉 made the kick off in the second half. 柯义川 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 毛诚义 in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes, 冯益辉 made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. 四川眉山浪客队's 柯义川 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
