With a couple of smart ball manuevers 康西坚 in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 蒋明榕 saved 湖南常德鬼火代表队 from getting behind. 12 minutes into the game, 李荣飞 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 湖南常德鬼火代表队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 天津静海县步行者队 the free kick. In the 15th minute, 余阳银 fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of 吕岚朋, passed just outside the right post. 16 minutes into the match, 郑远景 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 吕岚朋. 天津静海县步行者队's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 郑远景 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 19th minute 康西坚 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 蒋明榕 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 湖南常德鬼火代表队's 蒋明榕 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 周志真 in the 23rd minute of play. 孟鸿扬 charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 孟鸿扬 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes 湖南常德鬼火代表队 got a freekick which was hit by 孟鸿扬. But to his dismay, 江适景 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 湖南常德鬼火代表队's 蒋明榕 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 康西坚 in the 37th minute of play. 范国延 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 吕岚朋 having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, 湖南常德鬼火代表队's goal looked a bit too open when 周志真 came free, but 蒋明榕 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 范国延 made a kick off. 天津静海县步行者队's 吕岚朋 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 范国延 in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, 周志真 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 天津静海县步行者队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 周志真 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 58 played minutes 湖南常德鬼火代表队 got a freekick which was hit by 郭城阳. 董平默 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 蒋明榕. 湖南常德鬼火代表队's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 郑远景 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 吕岚朋 having to interfere. 郑远景 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. 吕岚朋 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If 康西坚 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes, 郑远景 made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. 天津静海县步行者队's 吕岚朋 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 周志真 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 蒋明榕 having to interfere. The supporters of 天津静海县步行者队 booed when 湖南常德鬼火代表队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. 余阳银 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, 天津静海县步行者队's 董平默 broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 吕岚朋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 范国延 in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, 湖南常德鬼火代表队's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 周志真 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 蒋明榕 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 康西坚 in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 范国延 in the 96th minute of play forced 天津静海县步行者队's goalkeeper 吕岚朋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
