In the 14th minute, 江西吉安巨魔队's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 苏挺广 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 魏南誉 took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 曹森青. 曹森青 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If 孔昆彬 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of 江西吉安巨魔队 booed when 湖北荆州掘金俱乐部队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. 钱常震 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match 齐骋宁 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 曹森青 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, 湖北荆州掘金俱乐部队's 韩悦冰 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 徐思翔 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by 陈景明 in the 31st minute of play forced 湖北荆州掘金俱乐部队's goalkeeper 曹森青 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 魏南誉 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 湖北荆州掘金俱乐部队's 苏挺广 got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 徐思翔 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 韩悦冰, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 苏挺广 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but 徐思翔 made a huge save. After the first half 江西吉安巨魔队 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 韩悦冰 was the one to do the kick off. If 钱常震 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to 江西吉安巨魔队 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. 郭岚宁 hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, 苏挺广 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 湖北荆州掘金俱乐部队's supporters rose to their feet, but 苏挺广 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 徐思翔 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 minutes of play, 湖北荆州掘金俱乐部队's 苏挺广 made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 徐思翔 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 湖北荆州掘金俱乐部队's 韩悦冰 got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 麦俊林 during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When 苏挺广, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The 徐思翔 was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 96 played minutes 江西吉安巨魔队 got a freekick which was hit by 林辉夕. 江西吉安巨魔队's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
