An unexpectedly hard shot by 卓义平 in the 24th minute of play forced 山西运城太空人队's goalkeeper 梅常康 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 林战帆 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 梅常康 having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in 山西运城太空人队's zone, 卓义平 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 梅常康 came out of the goal and 卓义平 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If 卓义平 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 卓义平 to make the kick off. 洪天川's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 梅常康 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 卓义平 couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 山西运城太空人队 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
