After 10 played minutes 湖南益阳所罗门队 got a freekick which was hit by 于升翔. 潘坤飞 made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when 康斌洲 sent off a good shot on target. 康斌洲 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 潘坤飞 having to interfere. 龚洲皓 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蔡翔宽 in the 19th minute of play. But to his dismay, 王烽军 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 麦迅川 was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when 王烽军 got free with 龚洲皓 in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When 姜真森 fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 湖南益阳所罗门队's protests and gave 姜真森 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, 姜真森 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by 麦迅川 in the 65th minute of play forced 湖南益阳所罗门队's goalkeeper 潘坤飞 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 郑晨榕 was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 郑晨榕 kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
