A collision led to 河南三门峡怪鸟队 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. 洪银泉 hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, 江苏常州拓荒者联队's 姚超棋 tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 汪辉凡 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 高庭梁 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 温迅超 in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the 河南三门峡怪鸟队 defense, 汪辉凡 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 高庭梁. The 河南三门峡怪鸟队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 高庭梁 should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute of the match, 汪辉凡 got a very nice opportunity to score, but 高庭梁 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 温迅超 in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 高庭梁 saved 河南三门峡怪鸟队 from getting behind. 汪辉凡's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, 高庭梁 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 温迅超 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 高庭梁 having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, 温迅超 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 江苏常州拓荒者联队's supporters rose to their feet, but 温迅超 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 高庭梁 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when 温迅超 made the kick off in the second half. If 潘平浩 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 姚超棋 kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 高庭梁 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 石迪克, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 温迅超 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. 高庭梁 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If 温迅超 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 陶西森 hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 高庭梁 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 汪辉凡, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes in the game, 温迅超 dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 78 minutes into the game, 石迪克 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 江苏常州拓荒者联队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 河南三门峡怪鸟队 the free kick. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, 温迅超 put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of 高庭梁. If 汪辉凡 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
