The penalty shot was made by 于升棋, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of 新疆乌鲁木齐食鱼人联队's 严勇烽. 0-1. 河南三门峡潜龙代表队's 鲁适迪 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 郑振邦 in the 34th minute of play. 郑振邦 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 鲁适迪 having to interfere. If 郑振邦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 尹耀战's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, 鲁适迪 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 武卫亮 to make the kick off. 严勇烽 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 武卫亮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute 武卫亮 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 严勇烽 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 河南三门峡潜龙代表队 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
