None of the them looked very eager to play. 苏钢朗 started the match with the kick off. When 郭振骏 fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal FC's protests and gave 郭振骏 a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by 郭振骏. 何誉晨 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 姜亦泉 in the 10th minute. 何誉晨 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 苏钢朗 in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, 秦光霖 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 江西吉安飞鱼俱乐部队 the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 姜亦泉 in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 何誉晨 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute 洪亦宽 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 何誉晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in 江西吉安飞鱼俱乐部队's zone, 马伟云 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 贺宇耀 came out of the goal and 马伟云 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind 江西吉安飞鱼俱乐部队's goalkeeper 贺宇耀, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 秦光霖 kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 何誉晨 was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 石博康. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's 郭振骏 got a free kick in the 44th minute. 秦光霖 was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 47th minute, 秦光霖 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 潘康震 was the one to do the kick off. Arsenal FC's 潘康震 got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If 马伟云 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's 马伟云 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 贺宇耀 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 苏钢朗 took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 何誉晨. 何誉晨 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 87th minute, Arsenal FC's 黄凌坚 seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 黄凌坚 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arsenal FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 黄凌坚 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 88th minute, 黄凌坚 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenal FC's attentive 马伟云 managed to snatch the ball when 曲昆珂 made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. 石博康 charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 石博康 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsenal FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
