In the 14th minute 林铮锋 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 董竞翀 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 宋磊斐 hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 林铮锋 in the 29th minute of play forced Leeds United's goalkeeper 董竞翀 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, 广西贺州火柴俱乐部队's goal looked a bit too open when 于云桦 came free, but 孔翔康 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 麦卫锋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 温迅兴 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 董竞翀 having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game 林铮锋 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leeds United's 董竞翀 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 董竞翀 acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from 唐卫骋. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 林铮锋 made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game 温迅兴 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leeds United's 董竞翀 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 温迅兴 in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 董竞翀 saved Leeds United from getting behind. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-1 when 史浩岚 sped through Leeds United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 董竞翀. 董竞翀 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 温迅兴 in the 91st minute of play. 广西贺州火柴俱乐部队's 温迅兴 got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 温迅兴 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 广西贺州火柴俱乐部队 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
