In the 19th match minute, 湖北荆门蓝蛇队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 沈潮云 to maneuver through the defense. If 胡诚鸿 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 谢鹏正 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 石德青 having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 胡诚鸿 in the 31st minute of play forced 浙江温州守望者代表队's goalkeeper 石德青 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 孔常明 came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the 浙江温州守望者代表队 fans jumped to their feet. With his leg 石德青 managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when 湖北荆门蓝蛇队's 胡诚鸿 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 石德青 acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from 陆梁光. After having played for 85 minutes, 谢鹏正 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 湖北荆门蓝蛇队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 谢鹏正 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 石德青 came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by 湖北荆门蓝蛇队's 胡诚鸿.
