When 叶凌烽 fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 台湾省基隆水手代表队's protests and gave 叶凌烽 a yellow card for diving instead. 崔义思 kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, 台湾省基隆水手代表队's goal looked a bit too open when 巩军榕 came free, but 朱振桑 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 朱振桑 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 台湾省基隆水手代表队 reached it. 尤林义 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 台湾省基隆水手代表队's 朱振桑 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 巩军榕 in the 32nd minute of play. 程源钢 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 顾迪烨, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 尤林义 couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 75th minute 邵阳霆 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 朱振桑 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 尤林义 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 山西大同菜鸟军联队's zone, 尤林义 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 程源钢 came out of the goal and 尤林义 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 尤林义 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in 台湾省基隆水手代表队's zone, 邵阳霆 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 朱振桑 came out of the goal and 邵阳霆 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute 顾迪烨 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 程源钢 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The 山西大同菜鸟军联队 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 台湾省基隆水手代表队 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
