If 邵适帆 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 陆潮明 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邵适帆, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 乔彬希 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 俞南银 having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, 海南省海医联队's 龚宇源 broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 方响升's late challenge caught a 广东揭阳巨人队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 方响升 helped the player get up and apologised. 28 minutes into the game, one of 海南省海医联队:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 29 minutes into the match, 孟烨真 notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of 海南省海医联队's 俞南银. 俞南银 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 33 minutes, 郝斌文 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 广东揭阳巨人队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 郝斌文 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 俞南银 came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by 广东揭阳巨人队's 郝斌文. But to his dismay, 郝斌文 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 蔡渊兴 hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 陆潮明 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 顾义建 in the 41st minute of the match. 乔彬希 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When 郝斌文 came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the 广东揭阳巨人队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 郝斌文 couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 顾义建 to make the kick off. In the last second 陆潮明 throw himself and got hold of the ball when 顾义建 in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 郝斌文 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When 于誉夕 fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 海南省海医联队's protests and gave 于誉夕 a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes 海南省海医联队 got a freekick which was hit by 于誉夕. 广东揭阳巨人队's 孟烨真 couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for 海南省海医联队. 顾义建 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, 海南省海医联队's goal looked a bit too open when 乔彬希 came free, but 俞南银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match, 顾义建 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 陆潮明 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If 顾义建 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 邵适帆 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 陆潮明 having to make a save. 乔彬希's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 俞南银 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, 范思荣 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 乔彬希 took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 俞南银. 俞南银 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 96 minutes into the match, 海南省海医联队's goal looked a bit too open when 乔彬希 came free, but 俞南银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 广东揭阳巨人队's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
