In the 23rd minute, 顾坚昆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 肖志适 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 林朗升 in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, 曲誉振 lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated 肖志适. 曲誉振 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 肖志适 having to interfere. 肖志适 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曲誉振 in the 36th minute of play. 林朗升 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. 肖志适 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 袁沙威 hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, 高钢桑 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 香港黄大仙区探索者队's 肖志适 didn't even have to move. If 孟延昆 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If 顾坚昆 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 孟延昆 to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, 林朗升 made a precise shot to the right of 肖志适. 香港黄大仙区探索者队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in 香港黄大仙区探索者队's zone, 林朗升 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 肖志适 came out of the goal and 林朗升 tried to chip the ball over his head. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, 林朗升 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. 肖志适 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 肖志适 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 曲誉振 went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
