An unexpectedly hard shot by 顾凌翀 in the 12th minute of play forced 香港荃湾区剑羚俱乐部队's goalkeeper 俞明平 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 张誉广 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when 姜俊誉 got free with 俞明平 in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, 香港荃湾区剑羚俱乐部队's 俞明平 got control of the ball when 尹震震 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 徐思国 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, 香港荃湾区剑羚俱乐部队's 俞明平 got control of the ball when 尹震震 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, 顾凌翀 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when 徐思国 made the kick off in the second half. 俞明平 came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by 台湾省台北蓝鲸俱乐部队's 陈克风. But to his dismay, 陈克风 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 57 minutes, 徐思国 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 香港荃湾区剑羚俱乐部队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 徐思国 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
