If 武镇亦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the 广东广州水蛇联队 defense, 林银霖 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 王悦益. The 广东广州水蛇联队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 王悦益 should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when 武镇亦 sped through 广东广州水蛇联队's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 王悦益. 武镇亦 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 林银霖 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of 王悦益 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 王悦益 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 武镇亦 in the 43rd minute of play. 武镇亦's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 王悦益 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 林银霖 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 王悦益 having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by 林银霖 in the 67th minute of play forced 广东广州水蛇联队's goalkeeper 王悦益 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 郭林梁 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 巩康宽 in the 69th minute of the match.
