A very good chance. 龙光战 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 卓国杰, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, 湖南岳阳雄狮队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 程益杰 to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 卓国杰 to strike the kick off in the second half. 曲义沙 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of 龙光战 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute, 邓坚海 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 曲义沙 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. 龙光战 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 顾城正 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If 顾城正 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 冯洋海 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. 狄枫凌 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 顾城正's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 狄枫凌 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 俞岚弘 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 狄枫凌 having to interfere. 郑翔树 charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 郑翔树 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 郑翔树 hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in 香港葵青区红人代表队's zone, 冯洋海 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 狄枫凌 came out of the goal and 冯洋海 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
