With an all-out effort, 陕西汉中残风俱乐部队's 马正博 threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 乔乐, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 19 played minutes 江苏无锡幻兽联队 got a freekick which was hit by 董鸿朋. 马正博 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 乔乐 in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of 江苏无锡幻兽联队 booed when 陕西汉中残风俱乐部队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. 乔乐 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that 梅耀德's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 雷星夕 was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers 姜德平 in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 马正博 saved 江苏无锡幻兽联队 from getting behind. If 梅耀德 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 任鹰迅 hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 雷星夕 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 庄志星 in the 75th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, 梅耀德 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 江苏无锡幻兽联队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 梅耀德 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, 梅耀德 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 江苏无锡幻兽联队's supporters rose to their feet, but 梅耀德 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 雷星夕 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
