In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mitsubishi FTO's goalkeeper 史希夕, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 韩义彬 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 冯风铮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 狄剑霖 hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 史希夕 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 史弘庭's late challenge caught a 广东云浮侠客代表队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

During the 79th minute of the match 史弘庭 completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave 史弘庭 a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 80 played minutes Mitsubishi FTO got a freekick which was hit by 史弘庭. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 邵默锋 during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 宋坤霖 charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
