Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that 韩宇城's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 王强勇 was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 陶皓正's late challenge caught a 台湾省高雄浪客队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 陶皓正 helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曾建南 in the 22nd minute of play forced 香港中西区术师代表队's goalkeeper 王强勇 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 杨轩卫 was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 29 played minutes 香港中西区术师代表队 got a freekick which was hit by 张明傲. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 曾建南 in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 王强勇 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If 余钢昆 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 于轩凌 kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 杨轩卫 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 崔誉渊 having to interfere. In the 37th minute 韩宇城 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 王强勇 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 韩宇城 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 王强勇 having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in 香港中西区术师代表队's zone, 曾建南 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 王强勇 came out of the goal and 曾建南 tried to chip the ball over his head. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 余钢昆 to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, 韩宇城 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 王强勇, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when 韩宇城 got free with 王强勇 in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 张明傲 kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 王强勇 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾建南 in the 64th minute of the match. 曾建南 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 王强勇 having to make a save. 71 minutes into the game, 韩宇城 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. 王强勇 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The 香港中西区术师代表队 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
