ReNew FC's players were relieved. 唐夕潮 charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, 罗德卫 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 罗德卫 made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when 俞梁雄 sent off a good shot on target. ReNew FC's 罗德卫 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 柯迅坤 in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 柯迅坤 in the 42nd minute of play forced ReNew FC's goalkeeper 罗德卫 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves 俞梁雄 could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which 罗德卫 however easily saved by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 魏延昂 made a kick off. 莫诚傲's late challenge caught a ReNew FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 莫诚傲 helped the player get up and apologised. 傅榕克 missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 53 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the 孟常夕 right hand side. When 傅榕克 fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ReNew FC's protests and gave 傅榕克 a yellow card for diving instead. 傅榕克 hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 罗德卫 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柯迅坤 in the 63rd minute of play. 孟常夕 made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when 武森棋 sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute 柯迅坤 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 罗德卫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, ReNew FC's goal looked a bit too open when 柯迅坤 came free, but 罗德卫 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
