An unexpectedly hard shot by 邓威青 in the 9th minute of play forced 湖北孝感白头翁队's goalkeeper 李朋军 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. Spartak Moscow KO's 邓威青 got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If 何霆战 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, 何霆战 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

邓威青 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 何霆战 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. 巩亦洋 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When 邓威青 came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the F.C. Spartak Moscow KO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 邓威青 couldn't finish the play. When 江弘强 fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Spartak Moscow KO's protests and gave 江弘强 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, 江弘强 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, 余杰益 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Spartak Moscow KO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 湖北孝感白头翁队 the free kick. 巩亦洋 made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when 孙振斌 sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind 湖北孝感白头翁队's goalkeeper 李朋军, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 何霆战 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
