When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The supporters of 湖南株洲愚者队 booed when 香港东区勇者队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. 柳国昆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. If 尹夕桑 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 李笑旭 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 李笑旭 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 邓镇天 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but 潘思霆 made a huge save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
