CNND's 方思迅 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 龚志弘 in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, 洪霖瑜 managed to get in a good position for a shot. CNND's supporters rose to their feet, but 洪霖瑜 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 袁烨烨 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute 顾耀浩 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 袁烨烨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 洪霖瑜 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, CNND's 洪霖瑜 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 袁烨烨 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 龚骋镇 during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of 广东湛江步行者队 booed when CNND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龚骋镇 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 袁烨烨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柯帆文 in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 龚志弘 was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, CNND's goal looked a bit too open when 龚志弘 came free, but 方思迅 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in 广东湛江步行者队's zone, 洪霖瑜 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 袁烨烨 came out of the goal and 洪霖瑜 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th match minute, 广东湛江步行者队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 钱洲勇 to maneuver through the defense. 袁烨烨 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 顾耀浩, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, 洪霖瑜 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CNND fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 顾耀浩 took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 袁烨烨. 袁烨烨 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If 龚志弘 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 方思迅 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 龚志弘 in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of 广东湛江步行者队 booed when CNND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. 俞战凡 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes CNND got a freekick which was hit by 龚骋镇. In the 72nd minute of the match 莫帆耀 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 方思迅 skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to CNND getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. 柯帆文 hit a great ball. 洪霖瑜 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 袁烨烨 having to make a save. 78 minutes into the match, 广东湛江步行者队's goal looked a bit too open when 洪霖瑜 came free, but 袁烨烨 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 顾耀浩 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 袁烨烨 having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, 顾耀浩 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CNND fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When 洪霖瑜 came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the CNND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 洪霖瑜 couldn't finish the play. 肖洲竞 hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match 江悦耀 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 袁烨烨 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 方思迅 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 刘默乐 in the 94th minute. When 洪霖瑜 came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the CNND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 洪霖瑜 couldn't finish the play. CNND walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
