In the 28th minute, 台湾省基隆朱雀队's 余朋云 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 楚平国 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 方邦斌 in the 32nd minute of play. 余朋云 succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. 马海斐 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 齐剑铮's late challenge caught a 台湾省基隆朱雀队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 齐剑铮 helped the player get up and apologised. 台湾省基隆朱雀队's 余朋云 got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If 余朋云 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 方邦斌 to make the kick off. 齐剑铮 kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match.
