An unexpectedly hard shot by 许锋建 in the 11th minute of play forced 福建福州猎豹队's goalkeeper 江枫风 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes 福建福州猎豹队 got a freekick which was hit by 罗勇亦. 国际米兰's 顾景坚 got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, 方海榕 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 福建福州猎豹队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 国际米兰 the free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 汪坚宇 made a kick off. In the 55th minute, 汪岚荣 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 江枫风 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 卓冰升's late challenge caught a 福建福州猎豹队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 卓冰升 helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of 福建福州猎豹队 booed when 国际米兰 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. 卓冰升 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute 汪岚荣 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 江枫风 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 汪岚荣 came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the 国际米兰 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 汪岚荣 couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute 许锋建 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 江枫风 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
