In the 30th minute, 孙轩宽 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute 曲广 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 郭镇霖 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 蔡笑星 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 山西运城巨魔俱乐部队's goalkeeper 莫庭松, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, 李霆川 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 俞平松 was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 蔡笑星 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 莫庭松 having to interfere. After a rather tough play, 山西运城巨魔俱乐部队's 马寒峰 got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 江苏无锡白鲑联队 fans cheered their team off the field, for while 山西运城巨魔俱乐部队 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
