In the 21stth minute of the game 洪德枫 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 陕西汉中狼人队's 巩城适 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 于卫's late challenge caught a 四川自贡白头翁联队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 于卫 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, 于卫 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 于卫 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 唐亮默 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 巩城适 having to interfere. 巩城适 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 洪德枫, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
