After a rather tough play, 绥阳中学's 梅西卫 got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 方剑源 in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 鲁冰骏 saved 绥阳中学 from getting behind. When 张永诚 fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 江西战神巴蒂球迷联队's protests and gave 张永诚 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 江西战神巴蒂球迷联队 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. 张永诚 hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, 范思帆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes 江西战神巴蒂球迷联队's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. The audience was convinced that 罗森鸿's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 巩松辉 was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, 柯谦凌 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If 柯谦凌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 杨迪彬 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. 巩松辉 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 鲁冰骏 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 方剑源, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 柯谦凌 couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see 绥阳中学 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
