The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 刘益伟 during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, 楚飞乐 fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 吕寒文 made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, 大连联队's goal looked a bit too open when 吕寒文 came free, but 谢洲文 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes 大连联队 got a freekick which was hit by 范旭挺. In the 57th minute, 许邦诚 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 大连联队's 谢洲文 didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that 吕寒文's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 谢洲文 was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If 史霆凌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 楚飞乐 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes 台湾省苗栗县魔术代表队 got a freekick which was hit by 刘益伟. In the 80th match minute, 大连联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 史霆凌 to maneuver through the defense. If 吕寒文 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, 吕寒文 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 台湾省苗栗县魔术代表队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 吕寒文 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 台湾省苗栗县魔术代表队 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
