In the 10th minute 卓适夕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 方轩翔 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 沙市曼彻斯特联队's 方轩翔 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 钱广弘 in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 云南临沧飞人联队's 鲁铮鸿 got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to 沙市曼彻斯特联队 getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. 崔凌坚 hit a great ball. 周德梁 kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 石思俊 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 鲁骏邦 in the 23rd minute of play. 钱广弘 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. 方轩翔 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in 云南临沧飞人联队's zone, 鲁骏邦 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 石思俊 came out of the goal and 鲁骏邦 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 谢义强 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, 云南临沧飞人联队's goal looked a bit too open when 鲁骏邦 came free, but 石思俊 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when 谢义强 got free with 石思俊 in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by 卓适夕 in the 41st minute of play forced 沙市曼彻斯特联队's goalkeeper 方轩翔 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 钱广弘 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 方轩翔 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 卓适夕 in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half 云南临沧飞人联队 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 钱广弘 to strike the kick off in the second half. 卓适夕 took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 方轩翔. 方轩翔 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, 卓适夕 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 云南临沧飞人联队's supporters rose to their feet, but 卓适夕 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 方轩翔 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 鲁铮鸿 kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 鲁骏邦 in the 66th minute of play forced 云南临沧飞人联队's goalkeeper 石思俊 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 沈义博 in the 71st minute of play forced 沙市曼彻斯特联队's goalkeeper 方轩翔 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 云南临沧飞人联队's zone, 谢义强 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 石思俊 came out of the goal and 谢义强 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 方轩翔 acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from 鲁铮鸿. With a little luck, 沙市曼彻斯特联队's 方轩翔 got control of the ball when 卓适夕 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When 钱广弘 came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the 云南临沧飞人联队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 钱广弘 couldn't finish the play. When the match was over 云南临沧飞人联队 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 沙市曼彻斯特联队 throughout the match.
