With 31 minutes on the clock, 康俊源 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. In the 44th match minute, 白虎队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 柯升誉 to maneuver through the defense. 罗锋冰 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but 周竞宁 made a huge save. 周竞宁 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 于亮桦 in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

白虎队's 冯斌夕 got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, 张庭潮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as 冯斌夕 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 毛永国. That made the score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. 周竞宁 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 罗锋冰, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes 台湾省台南县爵士代表队 got a freekick which was hit by 于亮桦. The audience thought a goal was coming when 冯斌夕 got free with 毛永国 in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, 白虎队's goal looked a bit too open when 于亮桦 came free, but 周竞宁 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 冯斌夕 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 毛永国 having to make a save. 白虎队 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
