The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 袁霆桦 during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If 孔渊挺 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 巩源迪 came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by ♂利物浦♀'s 孙松辉. But to his dismay, 孙松辉 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If 苏迪志 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when 袁霆桦 made the kick off in the second half. 巩源迪 was a little too slow when 曲平博 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. ♂利物浦♀'s 尤适康 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 袁霆桦 in the 59th minute of play. If 苏迪志 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 曲平博 hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 上海浦东迪士尼队 were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after ♂利物浦♀'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 秦夕威 took the corner. The corner ended in 秦夕威 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ♂利物浦♀'s 尤适康 did a great save. 孔渊挺 kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 秦夕威 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 尤适康. ♂利物浦♀'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If 袁霆桦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 袁霆桦 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 尤适康 having to interfere. The supporters of 上海浦东迪士尼队 booed when ♂利物浦♀ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. 李霖潮 didn't get a good kick on the ball.
