In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind 阿森纳neo's goalkeeper 胡响超, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 洪云青 struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. 胡响超 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 湖南湘潭游骑兵联队. 庞坤瑜 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 麦昂洋 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. 麦昂洋 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by 麦昂洋 in the 32nd minute of play forced 湖南湘潭游骑兵联队's goalkeeper 庞坤瑜 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 胡响超 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 麦克鸿, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes, 麦克鸿 made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. 阿森纳neo's 胡响超 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 洪云青's late challenge caught a 阿森纳neo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 洪云青 helped the player get up and apologised. 洪云青 hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as 阿森纳neo's 麦昂洋 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 庞坤瑜. That made the score 2-1 after 44 minutes of play. 庞康响 hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The supporters of 阿森纳neo booed when 湖南湘潭游骑兵联队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. 洪云青 didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 麦克鸿 made a kick off. 胡响超 made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when 吕坤银 sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, 阿森纳neo's 庞康响 got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 麦克鸿 struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. 胡响超 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 93 played minutes, 湖南湘潭游骑兵联队's 楚翔天 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 胡响超 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 湖南湘潭游骑兵联队 reached it. If 麦克鸿 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 湖南湘潭游骑兵联队 played a much better game than 阿森纳neo and deserved their victory. The 阿森纳neo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
