The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 汪钢镇 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 柳鸿雄 made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when 于鹰文 sent off a good shot on target. 柳鸿雄 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 董树烽 in the 12th minute of the match. 汪钢镇 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 罗天默, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 董树烽 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When 史明朋 fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 香港元朗区步行者队's protests and gave 史明朋 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, 香港元朗区步行者队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 史明朋 to maneuver through the defense. 汪钢镇 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 罗天默 in the 25th minute of play. 邵凡洲's late challenge caught a 香港元朗区步行者队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 邵凡洲 helped the player get up and apologised. 董树烽 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. 柳鸿雄 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when 杜奕 got free with 柳鸿雄 in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 柳鸿雄 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 董树烽, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 40 minutes, 于鹰文 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 香港元朗区步行者队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 于鹰文 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to 香港元朗区步行者队 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. 于鹰文 hit a great ball. 罗天默 kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, 董树烽 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 香港元朗区步行者队's supporters rose to their feet, but 董树烽 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 柳鸿雄 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 董树烽 made a kick off. When 彭皓海 fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 香港元朗区步行者队's protests and gave 彭皓海 a yellow card for diving instead. 崔勇誉 shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 61 minutes into the game, 香港元朗区步行者队's 董树烽 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 柳鸿雄 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 董树烽 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 柳鸿雄 having to interfere. 柳鸿雄 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 董树烽, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 杜奕 might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 柳鸿雄. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 杜奕 ran back to his position shaking his head. 柳鸿雄 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 杜奕 in the 77th minute of the match. 史明朋 kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, 香港元朗区步行者队's 杜奕 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 柳鸿雄 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 柳鸿雄 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 董树烽 in the 87th minute of the match. 董树烽 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the referee ended the match the 香港元朗区步行者队 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
