An unexpectedly hard shot by 石南强 in the 32nd minute of play forced 安徽阜阳变色龙联队's goalkeeper 庞朋响 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 邱昆思 in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 沈洋默 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39thth minute of the game 邱昆思 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 台湾省嘉义蠢人俱乐部队's 沈洋默 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 沈洋默 made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when 庄斐松 sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 邱昆思 to make the kick off.
