An unexpectedly hard shot by 洪文辰 in the 11th minute of play forced 香港九龙城区神奇鸭队's goalkeeper 许益景 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, 上海卢湾剑齿虎队's 朱南坤 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 许益景 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 曹誉兴 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 沈锋皓 having to make a save. With his leg 沈锋皓 managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when 香港九龙城区神奇鸭队's 龙超铮 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind 上海卢湾剑齿虎队's goalkeeper 沈锋皓, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 毛银杰 during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 上海卢湾剑齿虎队's 毛银杰 got a free kick in the 26th minute. 沈锋皓 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曹誉兴 in the 29th minute of the match. 俞天军 hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, 香港九龙城区神奇鸭队's 曹誉兴 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 沈锋皓 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rdth minute of the game 洪文辰 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 香港九龙城区神奇鸭队's 许益景 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 陆朋鹏 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 龙超铮 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but 沈锋皓 made a huge save. In the 39th minute, 林瑜辉 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 龙超铮 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but 沈锋皓 made a huge save. If 曹誉兴 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to 上海卢湾剑齿虎队 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. 黄鸿昂 hit a great ball. After having played for 44 minutes, 曹誉兴 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 香港九龙城区神奇鸭队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 曹誉兴 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half 上海卢湾剑齿虎队 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 曹誉兴 made a kick off. 洪文辰 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 许益景 having to make a save. After 54 played minutes 上海卢湾剑齿虎队 got a freekick which was hit by 孔霖云. In the 59th minute, 俞天军 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 沈锋皓 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曹誉兴 in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曹誉兴 in the 67th minute of play forced 上海卢湾剑齿虎队's goalkeeper 沈锋皓 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 许益景 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陆朋鹏, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 沈锋皓 came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by 香港九龙城区神奇鸭队's 曹誉兴. But to his dismay, 曹誉兴 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, 香港九龙城区神奇鸭队's 韩广海 got a free kick in the 78th minute.
