With an all-out effort, 四川自贡剑客联队's 孟西鹏 threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 蔡铮竞, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 四川自贡剑客联队! When 孔霆西 fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 四川自贡剑客联队's protests and gave 孔霆西 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 四川自贡剑客联队 getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. 孔霆西 hit a great ball. 孟西鹏 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蔡铮竞 in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 蔡铮竞 in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 孟西鹏 saved 河北张家口巨鳄队 from getting behind. 蔡铮竞 might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 孟西鹏. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 蔡铮竞 ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when 蔡铮竞 made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of 四川自贡剑客联队 booed when 河北张家口巨鳄队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. 郑磊然 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 俞飞霖 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟西鹏 having to interfere. 蔡铮竞 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. 孟西鹏 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 俞飞霖 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟西鹏 having to interfere. 孟西鹏 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 俞飞霖 went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, 四川自贡剑客联队's 潘奕剑 got control of the ball when 韩浩旭 tried to sneak it across the goal line. If 俞飞霖 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, 沈益斌 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 俞飞霖 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 四川自贡剑客联队's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
