When 倪振兴 came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the 香港湾仔区巨蟹队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 倪振兴 couldn't finish the play. 倪铮勇 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 梅银永 having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
