In the 43rd minute 孙梁永 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 汪建昂 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 叶真森 hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 潘景骋 was the one to do the kick off. 潘景骋 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, 『湘☆军』中南铁道代表队's goalkeeper 汪建昂 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 孙梁永. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 孙梁永 couldn't finish the play. 曹奕德 kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 汪建昂 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 麦朋剑, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 魏彬永's late challenge caught a freeball's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 魏彬永 helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of freeball booed when 『湘☆军』中南铁道代表队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. 魏彬永 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, 麦朋剑 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 汪建昂. 麦朋剑 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. 汪建昂 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 孙梁永 in the 96th minute. The freeball supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing freeball would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
