If 蒋义森 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 顾剑林 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蔡松兴 in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, 辽宁鞍山潜鱼代表队's goal looked a bit too open when 蒋义森 came free, but 史潮崇 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, 曾夕明 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, 秦青珂 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 许迅沙 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 曾夕明 scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 史潮崇, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to 辽宁鞍山潜鱼代表队 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. 陆文霆 hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 75th minute, 许迅沙 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When 蔡松兴 got free in front of the goal in the 78th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. 顾剑林 was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 蒋义森 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 史潮崇 having to make a save. 顾剑林 came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by 辽宁鞍山潜鱼代表队's 曾翀川. But to his dismay, 曾翀川 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 蒋义森 took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 史潮崇. 史潮崇 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
