After a rather tough play, 河南平顶山海狮俱乐部队's 任常渊 got a free kick in the 18th minute. 马彬棋 was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 孟响克. If 于然杰 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 邱强明 might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 麦洲西. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 邱强明 ran back to his position shaking his head. 于然杰 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 河南平顶山海狮俱乐部队's 马彬棋 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save 河南平顶山海狮俱乐部队 from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, 孟响克 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 潘平霆 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 马彬棋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 于然杰 in the 84th minute of play. 河南平顶山海狮俱乐部队's 马彬棋 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于然杰 in the 90th minute of play. 江苏盐城水牛俱乐部队's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
