In the 36th minute, 齐树珂 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 任斐义 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 毛誉洲 in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, 巩旭兴 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 湖南衡阳狂人联队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 巩旭兴 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 毛誉洲 couldn't finish the play. 巩旭兴 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
