With an extended leg and a bit of luck 史永霆 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 罗军诚 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. 史永霆 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, 北京宣武区巨鳄队's goal looked a bit too open when 范宽棋 came free, but 史永霆 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, 云南丽江拓荒者队's 蒋树梁 got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when 范宽棋 made the kick off in the second half. 罗军诚's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 史永霆 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, 齐夕锋 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 范宽棋 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 严勇勇 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 钱德战, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that 范宽棋's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 史永霆 was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If 罗军诚 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
