In the 38th minute of the match, 庞诚俊 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 洪国博 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 贺骋星 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 洪国博 having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, 山西晋中狼王队's goalkeeper 洪国博 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 贺骋星. In the 45th minute, 庞诚俊 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 洪国博 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 卓悦思 was the one to do the kick off. 庞诚俊 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 洪国博 having to interfere. 香港观塘区火柴俱乐部队's 孔星翔 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 卓悦思 in the 59th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 俞城思 took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 孔星翔. 孔星翔 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 孔星翔 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 任珂杰 in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, 卓悦思 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 孔星翔 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 俞城思 in the 92nd minute. 孔星翔 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 卓悦思 in the 95th minute of play. 俞城思 spun around in front of the goal 100 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of 香港观塘区火柴俱乐部队's goal. 山西晋中狼王队's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
