The audience thought a goal was coming when 柯广烽 got free with 崔晨永 in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 龙剑克 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, 于桦皓 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when 柯广烽 got free with 崔晨永 in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 于桦皓 to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, 于桦皓 fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If 程翀镇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 庞峰镇's late challenge caught a 湖北荆州白虎俱乐部队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 庞峰镇 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, 柯广烽 made a precise shot to the right of 崔晨永. 湖北荆州白虎俱乐部队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.
